Your nature is cyclical

Your menstrual cycle is part of who you are. A space to get to know it, and yourself, a little more.

We grow in a spiral

We were taught to live in a straight line, giving the same every day. But your body, like the moon, the tides and the seasons, moves in cycles. Every month you pass through the same places again, and you are never exactly the same.

This space was born so we can remember it together: look at our period without shame, listen to what your cycle tells you and live it in community, close to the earth and to plants.

Your cycle speaks to you

Your cycle changes with sleep, stress, food, joys and sorrows. That's why many gynaecologists call it a vital sign, like your pulse or temperature. When you learn to listen to it, it tells you how you really are.

It's not about controlling it, but about knowing it: noticing what each phase asks of you and giving yourself permission to live it your way.

A thread from far away

When your mother was a baby in your grandmother's womb, her ovaries already held the egg you were born from. For a few months, three generations shared the same body. Your cycle doesn't begin with you: it's a thread from far away, and you weave it too.

Every month your body prepares the possibility of a new life. If it doesn't come, it lets it go with your period and starts again. Letting go and being reborn: the same gesture as the moon, which wanes until it disappears and grows again, and as the earth, which rests in winter to bloom in spring.

Write to me or join the next circle

If you have a question or want to share something, write to me. I'll answer calmly and with care. (I write mostly in Spanish, but you can write to me in English.)

Frequently asked questions

Does every cycle last 28 days?

No. Every cycle is unique. Anywhere between 21 and 35 days is common, and the length can change from one month to the next. The phases you see here are a guide, not a rule.

What is a women's circle?

A gathering where we sit together, talk about one theme of the cycle and share. You can speak or simply listen.

How do I start getting to know my cycle?

With something as simple as writing down how you feel each day: energy, emotions, sleep, flow. After a few months you'll start to see your own patterns.

Does this replace seeing a doctor?

No. This is a space for learning. If you have strong pain, very heavy bleeding or anything worries you, see a health professional.

A letter every cycle

Every cycle you get a letter: the date of the next circle, a seasonal recipe or infusion and an idea to go with your cycle. The letters are written in Spanish.

Sharing generously is one of our values: it is what makes us sisters.
