Yoga and meditation
Gentle practices to move your body, breathe and listen to yourself in each phase of your cycle.
Move your body, breathe
Moving your body slowly and breathing calmly is also a way of caring for yourself. Here are some gentle YouTube practices we love, to do at home, on the mat or lying in bed. The videos are in Spanish, but they are easy to follow by watching.
Listen to your body: if something doesn't feel right, stop. Every cycle is unique, and these practices are an invitation, not a task.
And soon, perhaps, yoga classes for the cycle that you'll be able to book here. We'll let you know.

Meditating with your cycle
When I started meditating I wasn't looking for anything in particular. Over time I noticed something I didn't expect: my period arrived more calmly. There was less pain, less rush and more inner peace.
When we live with stress, the body goes on alert and releases more cortisol and adrenaline. The muscles tense up, the pelvic ones too, and the nervous system becomes more sensitive, so pain feels stronger.
Gentle yoga helps from the body. It opens the hips, eases the lower back and helps blood flow through the pelvis. It doesn't need to be perfect. A few minutes a day are enough, especially in the days before your period. Try it, notice what changes in your cycle and keep whatever feels good to you.
